چکیده

We study the delta-T noise in Kondo regime, which implies charge current under temperature bias for SU(2) quantum dot. propose an experimentally measurable quantity to quantify low-temperature properties noise: $S_{\ell}=S(T_{\mathrm{L}},T_{\mathrm{R}}) - (1/2)[S(T_{\mathrm{L}},T_{\mathrm{L}}) + S(T_{\mathrm{R}},T_{\mathrm{R}})]$, yields shot expression noninteracting limit. calculate this dot particle-hole symmetric case. found that $S_{\ell}$ exhibits qualitatively same behavior both electrochemical potential biased case and The quantitative difference appears as a of coefficients noises, reflects Fermi distribution function: or biased.

Fractional shot noise in the kondo regime.

Transport through quantum dots in the Kondo regime obeys an effective low-temperature theory in terms of weakly interacting quasiparticles. Despite the weakness of the interaction, we find that the backscattering current and hence the shot noise are dominated by two-quasiparticle scattering. We show that the simultaneous presence of one- and two-quasiparticle scattering results in a universal a...

Anomalous noise in the pseudogap regime of YBa2Cu3O(7-delta).

An unusual noise component is found near and below about 250 K in the normal state of underdoped YBCO and Ca-YBCO films. This noise regime, unlike the more typical noise above 250 K, has features expected for a symmetry-breaking collective electronic state. These include large individual fluctuators, a magnetic sensitivity, and aging effects. A possible interpretation in terms of fluctuating ch...

Measurement of quantum noise in a carbon nanotube quantum dot in the Kondo regime.

The current emission noise of a carbon nanotube quantum dot in the Kondo regime is measured at frequencies ν of the order or higher than the frequency associated with the Kondo effect k(B)T (K)/h, with TK the Kondo temperature. The carbon nanotube is coupled via an on-chip resonant circuit to a quantum noise detector, a superconductor-insulator-superconductor junction. We find for hν ≈ k(B)T(K)...

Mesoscopic fluctuations in quantum dots in the Kondo regime

Properties of the Kondo effect in quantum dots depend sensitively on the coupling parameters and so on the realization of the quantum dot—the Kondo temperature itself becomes a mesoscopic quantity. Assuming chaotic dynamics in the dot, we use random matrix theory to calculate the distribution of both the Kondo temperature and the conductance in the Coulomb blockade regime. We study two experime...

Chessboard Magnetoconductance of a Quantum Dot in the Kondo Regime

Transport through a quantum dot (QD) in the Kondo regime shows alternating regions of high and low conductance when both an external magnetic field and the gate potential controlling the depth of the QD potential are varied. We present a theoretical analysis of this chessboard aspect of the magneto-conductance. An effective Kondo Hamiltonian is obtained by means of a restriction to the Hilbert ...
